Hi, I'm Rachel, the creator of Rachel Pastor Coaching and The Xperience. I am a Transformation Expert specializing in helping people breakthrough limiting beliefs, create new behaviors, habits, and A BODY THEY LOVE using fitness, nutrition, accountability, and neuroscience. I have been working in the health and fitness industry since 2008.
I have a wonderful husband, two beautiful girls, and a crazy dog, and we love our active and full life in Fort Collins, Colorado. I love getting together with good friends, exercising (duh!), eat and at the top of my list of favorite things to do is traveling.
My mission in life is to impact the masses with the JOY of health and fitness. I came to this mission at the darkest time in my life. I was very unhealthy, 60 pounds heavier, and felt completely lost. All I wanted was to feel better!
I was invited to the gym by a friend. My journey into health and fitness started with walking on the treadmill and grew from there. I kept going back and each time did more and more. Then I started to eat healthier. A JOY started growing inside of me I hadn’t felt in years (if ever before). Health and fitness saved my life. I knew that there was no way I was the only one searching and I had to show as many people as possible what I had found.
I went back to school and started working in a gym, teaching group fitness. Eventually, I became a personal trainer, specializing in nutrition and life coaching and I opened my own gym. What I learned through all of this is that in order to create lifelong change there needs to be a change from the inside out. So, I became an NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) specialist to create change at the subconscious level. I’ve taken all of this knowledge and years of experience online to help anyone from anywhere to achieve the changes they’ve always wanted but haven’t been able to maintains.
I have had the incredible opportunity of impacting thousands of lives around the world with my mission between my coaching, events, podcast, and videos. I know without a doubt this is what I was meant to do.

When you sign up to work with me, we’ll start off with a life assessment so I can start to create your custom plan. This conversation is about an hour long where we will talk about your current lifestyle and habits, as well as your goals.Then, I will develop a customized plan for you and on our next call, I’ll show everything you need to know to implement it and hit the ground running. Each person has unique fitness goals so I create a weekly plan that works for each client—whether you work out from home, at the gym, or outside. If you already have a routine you love, we’ll keep that and combine it with tools that will make sure you get the results you want. If you don’t have a plan, NO PROBLEM! I have one to share with you!.
My one-on-one coaching clients get daily, high-level accountability check-ins with me. We will discuss if you are on track with all of your goals and promises. You’ll also get bi-weekly zoom or phone calls (your choice) with just you and Rachel to work through and break free any blocks and limitations. And you’ll get weekly online check-ins to make sure you are responding and moving forward, ensuring you get the results you want.

Raised by a father who died from obesity at the age of 69yrs young weighing 400lbs and a mother who is a lifetime member of Weight Watchers, I had no sense of “normalcy” around food. At the age of 42 I’ve spent over half my lifetime now on the cycle of dieting. I have done every diet, workout program, cleanse, and miracle pill. I have destroyed my body on this journey, and it had to stop.
90 days later, my outside looks the same, minus 5lbs and puffy inflammation, but my inside is forever changed. Eating without fear, shame. There is no more restriction. No more “treating” myself with food. Food is eaten to nourish my body and give me the energy I need to live in my purpose every day. I have massive dreams and need all the energy and brain power I can get to live this life!
The real transformation can’t be seen in a before + after. Yes, my body changed. Yes, I take up less physical space. Yes, I love the way I look but I also loved the way I looked in my befores. It started with self-love.

Self-care like daily movement, ample hydration, and fueling my body properly is now a habit I can’t live without. It’s allowed me to level up in my biz, my relationships, and my confidence. Annnd I’m just getting started!
From the time I was young, 9-10 years of age I was overweight. Around 12, I started to struggle with eating disorders, (overeating, binge-purge, and bulimia). Then I found drugs. Heroin, and all others, and quickly became skinny (97 lbs skinny upon checking into rehab). Over the last 19 years I have maintained sobriety and persistently struggled with food and weight. I have done ALL the yo-yo diets. Keto, phentermine, this, that, and the other. None were successful and sustainable for the long run, and I ALWAYS gained the weight back, felt hungry, and was full of fear and scared to at food. I resented the need to eat.
In May 2020, I decided to take the jump and start Rachel’s transformation program. I have known Rachel for a LONG time. And I, 100% knew she was safe, caring, and really knowledgeable in her LIFE PASSION of helping people change their lives. She is with you every step of the way. Immediately upon joining coaching, Rachel called me out for not having integrity to myself. And she was absolutely right. I had integrity to everyone, always doing for everyone else, but never keeping my word to myself. There were no more excuses. Everyone is busy, everyone has baggage. Rachel helped me to see that this is it, my one life. I was not going to look back and think that I “could have” or “should have.” Now is the time. This is it. Oh, and the only way to get there is to “DO THE WORK!” I experienced an incredible shift in mindset during the 90 day program that I continue to implement every single day.
Initially I didn’t want to share my story, due in part to my embarrassment of my “before” pic. But honestly, by not sharing that picture, I am not honoring this journey. Yes, I have lost inches and weight, but what I have gained cannot be quantified. I have promises that I keep to myself every single day, NO MATTER WHAT. I have a love for fitness again that I haven’t had in so many years. I am in control of what I eat. I am able to do all the things I want to do in life with energy and joy. THIS is what it’s all about, friends, NOT a number on the scale or even a clothing size. I feel like I am taking care of myself for the first time in a long time and in doing so, being the best version of myself for those I love. I have no doubt that I would still be staring at the same number on the scale, feeling the same way I did in May, had I not joined Rachel’s program.
I was drawn to Rachel's approach and transformation style. I timidly jumped on board. I guess you could say I was proceeding with caution.I quickly learned I had a lot of work to do. I learned this concept called self-integrity & showing up for myself—I was in charge of making or not making these choices even during challenging times. Some of the lessons that are part of Rachel’s program have been & still are very difficult for me to work through and I still need to finish some of them.
I learned to show up for myself & that I am “worthy” even though some things from my past have told me otherwise.
I have learned what counting macros is all about & the importance of keeping track of them. I have developed better eating habits & feel much better than before. I have incorporated regular physical activity into my life much better than before. These changes are still works in progress. I am more confident now in moving forward on my own and look forward to continued success in my transformation.
I was 6 weeks postpartum with my second child when I came across the coaching program. Having struggled with an eating disorder since the age of 10, I knew I needed help to better myself. I was broken and dying. I was disgusted with living in the cycle of binging, purging, and restricting and decided, enough was enough. I deserved better and my family deserved better. I joined the coaching program less than a month after subscribing and was paired with Rachel. Rachel was put into my life for a reason. My transformation WOULD NOT have been the same if it weren't for her. I have definitely changed physically but, MAN, the mental change is TREMENDOUS. These pictures are bittersweet for me, but it is truly a representation of my mental transformation. In the first, I remember cropping the picture, trying to hide any identifying attributes (my head, tattoos). The clutter in the room seemed to make it less deafening. I was so ashamed of that body. My mind and my body were in no way connected. In the second, well, I see someone that has given herself a new chance at life. I am forever grateful for this program, this team, and Rachel. This program has given me what I was missing to heal myself. I am so proud that I finally loved the 10 year old girl inside me and set her free.
All my life I struggled with my weight and body imagine. I remember being in elementary school and looking down at my legs and thinking how fat there were compared to my friends. That led to a long battle with anorexia and bulimia. I could loose 40 pounds but then immediately would gain it all back and more. When I turned 42 I was almost 270 pounds. I was so depressed and hopeless.
I set a goal for myself to run a half marathon. I have always WANTED to be a runner but never believed I could! The desire was real but the motivation and actual action was lacking. I told Rachel my goal and she said I absolutely could achieve it! I laughed at her and agreed to listen to her direction - again not really believing I could.
The accountability she provided was crucial to my success. I stacked promises to myself, I followed through, and I kept my commitments to myself and to her!
As I said earlier, when I started with Rachel in May 2020 I couldn’t run more than a minute. I am proud to say this week I am running at 10K non-stop! I even joined a running club!

The coaching program with Rachel Pastor has been truly transformational for me in many ways. I have been overweight most of my adult life and when faced with the need to lose weight for medical reasons, my wife discovered the coaching program and Rachel which we both joined. I have been working with Rachel for just over 6 months and have had nothing but success under her coaching and guidance. She is very giving with her time, advice, and truly caring about your success as a friend. The physical changes are obvious on the outside as I have lost 30+ lbs and over 24” with Rachel as my coach. The mental changes are not as obvious but they are even more important to my long term health and success. Rachel’s coaching has helped me more in life than any personal trainer could have done. When I first coaching with Rachel, I was purely just interested in the physical changes I hoped for my body. However, as I have given myself to the whole process I have learned that the mental and emotional transformation I am and have experienced has meant so much more than any pounds lost. My mindset is so much stronger and healthier than it has ever been ( I actually tell myself that I think I'm rad and that I'm happy to be me), and that is something I will forever be grateful for! Because of the change in my mindset, I am a better wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. A few weeks into the coaching program with Coach Rachel I realized that the most valuable tool to me was not what I expected. It actually was the life lessons that would give me the transformation that you can’t see as well from these pictures. Those that know me can though. I have worked through so much even though I still have a ways to go. I have also gained a huge supportive family as well as self worth and confidence. I have learned to lean on those that support my successes as I support theirs. And it’s ok if their successes have nothing to do with health I just need to be there to support them and live by example. I will be there for whatever support they need with any goals they make. So while I have had a huge change on the outside so far the inside is much bigger. I value myself, my health, and personal integrity. I try my best every day to be better than I was yesterday and to not focus on those that aren’t in my court. Today I choose joy.

Based on your initial assessment information, we’ll create a plan that’s right for you. We meet you where you’re at, so we won’t expect you to run 5 miles next week if you’re not a runner. We won’t ask you to take on an intense weight-lifting routine if you don’t have access to weights. Each person’s goals, lifestyle, and starting point are unique to them. We take all of this into account and much more to create the right plan for you.
No, we do not write meal plans. There are two reasons for that:
YES! We teach you how to make this work for you. We want to empower you to fit the puzzle pieces of nutrition together yourself over time.
We have multiple options for nutrition plans in our tool bag as we believe there is no one-size-fits-all plan. Based on your initial assessment information, we will determine the best plan for you. Most people start on a balanced intake plan to teach you how to eat the right amount of macronutrients. The percentages of macronutrients are unique to you, based on where you are currently and where you want to be. If the nutrition plan we set you on is not the right one for you, we will shift as needed to make sure you are on a program that works for you and helps you accomplish your goals. Some of our plans we recommend are:
It takes about 4-6 weeks for us to reset your metabolism and turn it into the inferno we want it to be. You can and will still see results in the first 4-6 weeks, but that’s how long it takes for inferno mode. That being said we typically will not change your plan in the first 4-6 weeks until that process has taken place. After that, we adjust as needed. We watch the data and make sure your body is responding. If at any point the needle stops moving, we make adjustments as needed.
We use an app called Voxer to do our daily check-ins. This is a private line between you and Rachel.
Absolutely, you can still do this program even if you can’t work out every day! We meet you where you’re at. You do not have to work out every day to get results. Doing anything more than you are doing right now will make a difference. We grow from there.
NOPE! There’s no need for a gym membership. If you have a gym membership and want to use it—great! But you don’t need it. We have at-home workouts, with equipment and without. And we have gym workouts and more.
It’s totally up to you. The Xperience Method teaches you how to still LIVE your life and ENJOY it. We seek to change the belief that you can’t do the things you love to do in life while losing weight and living a healthy lifestyle. We want you to enjoy a vacation and stop living trapped by feeling like you always have to be in restriction. The Xperience Method is about finding balance in being able to enjoy life while still having the discipline it takes to reach our goals. And, it’s about how to set realistic goals and expectations that lead to success.
Yes, this program is perfect for you and is ideal for any goals. Your fitness and nutrition plan will be based on what you want to create. How you work through and create new beliefs, habits, and behaviors is no different for someone who wants to lose 100 lbs and someone who wants to run a faster marathon.
Yes, you can. If it fits into your nutrition for that day, you are welcome to do that. We do encourage you to lower the amount of alcohol intake to see the best results possible. BUT, alcohol is not off-limits.
No, you do not. You can do this program without any shakes or supplements. That’s entirely optional and your choice.
It’s up to you—whether you’d like to use Zoom, phone call, or FaceTime.
Yes, when you choose one-on-one coaching, Rachel will work with you directly the whole time.
Yes, there is a modification for any workout I provide.
